Currently, the Fission project is Opentracing for distributed tracing. We are planning to move to adopt Opentelemtry instead and adopt it project wide. Opentelemetry support is already added in the upcoming 1.15 release. We are trying to take a call whether to deprecate or remove Opentracing based on the user base. Please let us know if you are using Opentracing integration with Fission. If you are comfortable migrating to Opentelemtry you don't need to raise any concerns. |
