• Reviewing the license generator
  • The problem was that there was a confusion as to what InnerSource meant
  • As a result, you can violations and a leakage of IP
    • As in, when folks leave the company
  • It is not just about the license, it is about the appropriate license
    • Developers have a better understanding of what is possible and what is not possible
    • Set of well defined licenses that are well known
    • Simply facilitating collaboration
  • License generator could open up the concept of shared code with attribution
    • If the upstream systems were innersource, you can unlock the integration of these issues
  • Next steps
    • Need to update the generator doc
