I am new to typst and this plugin. The README mentions using shared preambles- but what is a preamble?

The problem I am trying to solve is that typst is rendering with white text on obsidian so I think I need to add this stuff:

#33

Welcome to the wonderful world of Typst! As the README says, the preamble code will be prepended to any Typst code before being compiled and rendered. You can then place any shared code that you want to run for all math/code blocks such as styling settings or variables.

To address your problem directly, in the shared preamble there is the line #set text(fill: white, ...) which sets the text to white. So yes, the code supplied in #33 will fix this, or you can just set the fill to black if you do not expect to change your theme.

Ah, I see it is in the setting pane for the plugin. Suggested README edit: #43
