Feature Request: Option to Always Open in New Window

Hello. I've tried a lot of different markdown editors-- all of the GTK-based ones I could find-- and this is the best one. I only have one small gripe. I don't use the sidebar. Ever. I like to search for my markdown files to open them in new windows, but they automatically open in the sidebar and can't be dragged out.

Could we have an option in the preferences for whether or not documents open in the sidebar or a new window by default?
