As a Software Developer, I regularly use Excalidraw for prototyping and lashing out my creativity when I have no pen and paper lying around. Recently, I've noticed the squares (help lines) appear on canvas, and found them very helpful, now I can actually estimate the size of an object much better.
There is just one issue... 5 squares are pretty odd for my taste. Now I get that it suits most cases perfectly, however, I sometimes need to extend the square size to 8 x 8, so I can, for example, manage buffer sizes in bytes better. Is there any plan to include a feature such as this? By "this" I mean, the possibility to enter a number and the squares automatically resize themselves.
Quite freely after the slogan "be the change you'd like to see in this world", I would be more than delighted to make my hands "dirty" and contributing the code myself. Of course, only if desired.
