The Community Contribs & Snippets category is for everyone in the community to share snippets of code to show how they solved a particular problem or implemented a particular system.
Note that this is all 'unofficial' and potentially unsupported code. Quality can vary but it may inspire you or provide you something to start from. If you find bugs or errors you should ask the author in the snippet's thread.
Evennia also distributes 'official' community contributions in its contrib/ folder. Check the contrib documentation to find available contribs and learn how to suggest your code as a new contrib for Evennia!
Hints on presenting your code:
Make your thread-title informative so people can browse it in the list. Don't just name it 'some useful code', explain what it is.
Start your thread with a short introduction where you explain in words what your code does and how/when/where to use it.
You can also use this category to link to e.g. a Github repo with Evennia snippets you maintain. Make sure to explain in the thread what the link leads to.
If you add code directly to your thread, embed your code in python-marked triple-backticks. This formats it and gives it syntax highlighting:
