why preferences never safe data?

i stucked with that for hours :(

i have this snippet:

Why are these never saved and read?

May be you're using a mix of calls from the EEPROM and Preferences libraries?

i never used the EEPROM libary. It must have been a syntax issue. After I fixed all the "distant" errors, it worked. My apologies.
