Elk does not update when clicking 'Update' #2871

Hello,

I love Elk and it is my goto app for web viewing.

After seeing the notification on the bottom right to update Elk, I click 'Update' and the page refreshes but Elk does not update.

See screenshot - this is just after clicking 'Update'.

Is there a way to force the update? After a certain period of time, the Update button will reappear and Elk may update after several tries but this seems like a bug.
