Issue

I am using SSH FS to connect to my workspace and trying to use shfmt, but I can't use it because editorconfig is disabled when using an SSH FS workspace

VSCodium editorconfig-vscode
Version 1.81.1 v0.16.6

Additional comments or steps to reproduce

I'm using vscodium
