Hello I have an Idea,

is it possible to implement this new feature, because it would be much more easier to see whats happening when a gameserver is updating its files.

I ran in to a problem with a LAN Cache and it seems that no server files would be downloaded. (for some reason)

So if you could see the output from the steamconsole that would be great.

Greetings

Tobi

Agree, this would save a lot of time on debugging game templates.

you dont need to see.
Because this is sync system.
So you install a master server and update master server.
when you update a server the normal server go to main server and check files, if dont "have" the master sync.

This dont use the cmd update
if you want we can put that but removing sync system will increse disck space.

yea but you dont see the update status from steam cmd. But sometimes you want so see at what percentage the download will be instead of seeing an circle spinning for an randomly ammount of time. So a proggress Bar would be great with the output from steamcmd

yes but you dont use steam cmd to update servers.. :D

you use sync so only use steam cmd on master server, and you can see stats if are update or already update

I think you are not understanding what I mean. Wen you install games on a master server you install the servers via steam cmd right?

so when you update or install a new game on the master servers you don’t get any progress bar about the installation or update. You don’t see if an download is stuck or unusually slow.

Do you get now what I mean? 😂
