About the requirements for adding a new distro

I would like to know what the requirements are for adding new distros, I am a beginner distro developer and I would like to have a logo for my distro on neofetch, I already have the logo ready and I have already tested it on neofetch :)

my distro is archlinux based

Neofetch 7.1.0

this project is probably dead... may as well be a good idea to make your own neofetch.. but good job on your distro!

serious? @IDKnix I was surprised by the number of pull requests still open, but it's strange to think that neofetch is dead when there are so many people using it...

I think I'll take advantage of the fact that I've already forked the project and keep it with my changes :) even if one day my pull request is accepted in the official project, it will be a great learning experience

@wellyton-xs where is developed and where can be download the "tortoise" distro?

hello! His interest made me very happy.

About how to download, I have a link on Google Drive where there is a folder with the iso, I intend to put the iso on sourceforge.

Distribution is literally just beginning, so I ask you for a little patience.
I'm currently in the testing phase to get the basics working so I can finally mold it into the way I envisioned.

What I idealized is the following:
a distro that focuses on developers and the proposal is to bring a pre-assembled environment for work. In addition to several scripts that come by default to assist in the programmer's day-to-day tasks on the command line and in the configuration of their tools.

There is already a liveCD working in the style of pure archlinux, it has the programs that I defined to come by default and the customizations characteristic of my distribution.

Well, I still have some problems to solve until I have my first usable version. Currently I have a liveCD for 100% functional installation. The look of the distribution is customized, however I couldn't make either calamares or archinstall work...

My calamares is having problems with the installation and as for archinstall, as soon as the installation finishes it does not come with the changes I made to archlinux or the programs I defined. It becomes pure archlinux, basically raw.

As for the source code, I'm going through the process of structuring it efficiently for contribution, if anyone is interested :) all help will be welcome <3

I will make the updated code available this week, I feel like it's about time, even with the problems I'm going through to make everything stable.

Sorry for the large amount of text, hugs!
