Why? 馃挱

Editing is one of the single most important "transferable life skills" a person can cultivate.
The skill of editing text goes way beyond editing computer programming code.
It requires superior focus in both reading, writing and developing the muscle-memory
to navigate and type fast is the difference between being an amateur and a master.

Please Note: I am not suggesting that advanced Vim skills are a prerequisite for achieving mastery in "creative technology". Nor am I implying that having Vim skills automatically makes anyone a master of any creative tech. However ... without actively pursing mastery in editing skills (in your editor of choice - which can be Vim/Emacs for Text, Davinci Resolve for Video or Blender for 3D drawing, etc.) you will not come close to excellence in your chosen field.

What? 馃捇

Learn everything I/we can about the Vim editor and systematically catalog the knowledge so that other people can learn it much faster.

Who? 馃懁

Anyone who edits text and wants to do it much faster.

When? 馃搯

Now!

How? 馃挕

Let's get cracking!
