Write up a MD on what features the API gateway provides and why it's important in a microservices architecture. And

e.g.

A place to rate limit ingress (throttling)
A place to secure external facing published APIs and service access points (OpenIDConnect)
A place to do collection of metrics on the ingress of the application
Dynamic capability for non-coders to manage APIs
