Hi, I faced an issue with Ghost CMS. For context Ghost automatically adds a ?=yourblogdomain.tld behind all the outgoing links.
Now for example I have a bunny cdn referral link which looks like ( https://bunny.net/?ref=6asvow8i1v ) this.
I setup a redirect in dub.co to redirect for example /bunny to redirect to the above link. Which works okay.
But when I insert the dub link into my ghost blog it adds /bunny?referral=techweirdo.net. When the redirects happens it lands on ( https://bunny.net/?ref=techweirdo) instead of my referral link. For this reason I am just using cloudflare workers to do the current redirect which does not have the issue. But I don't want to maintain something myself with poor analytics and just have dub handel things for me.
Below are the links:
Dub.co redirects:
https://go.2tw.in/bunny (works normally)
https://go.2tw.in/bunny?ref=techweirdo.net (does not land on the referral link)
My current solution which works:
https://2tw.in/bunny?ref=techweirdo.net (it properly redirects to the referral link)
Diy is fun, but I don't want to use diy stuff in production 🥲
