Song progress not working with windows audio + album art fetch issues

For some reason the song progress bar does not update when using windows audio and other features such as {remaining} don't seem to work either. Also, around 60% of the time, it doesn't fetch the album art for the music I'm listening to. Are these problems due to the version of windows i am using or due to the audio source?
(using windows 11 with ExplorerPatcher as indicated in the installation guide)
