Is Dropzone maintained ? #2252

I've been using Dropzone in my projects since 2016. Why do you think this won't do the job because someone hasn't edited it? It works fine. I see these emails on this repo come through every so often. People think that the only metric that matters is date modified. You can have garbage code that gets updated every day. Just make a script that adds and removes whitespace every couple days. Is that all it would take to convince you that a piece is code is good? You SHOULD use dropzone because it hasn't NEEDED an update since 2021. It works the same today that it did in 2021. Why should it be changed? Use Dropzone. Because it is complete. It is not partially complete, or waiting for attention, or has unknown bugs. It is a complete, finished product that provides reliable, expected behavior exactly like it has for years and years. Whatever alternative you're considering probably can't say the same thing. |

Hi,
We would like to include dropzone.js in our new app, but we are surprised that the last release was in November 2021.
Is the project maintained?
Dropzone has considerable strength compared to Filepond, and we would like to use it.
As it is a big part of our app, we want to be sure it is still in the pipeline. :)
Thank you,
Joffrey
