What Is the issue?

Handshake is not working on grand child

Provide issue context below using code examples, images, or links

I have scenario where I have parent -> child -> parent relationship. In this scenario first parent -> child handshake is working properly, but when I have added same parent as a child of it's own child then handshaking is not performing with it's parent. I want to send message back from grand child to child and then to parent. How can I do this?
