Use case: In French apostrophes are frequently used in page titles and are just removed in RealURL.

Having apostrophe replaced with "-" would make url more human readable.

Approved. For example a page called L'école in french (it means the school) should be called through /l-ecole and not lecole

I am aware of this issue. However this will lead to a problem with already existing pages: they will suddenly change paths, which would cause problems with Google and bookmarks. I cannot make the change that will break all existing URLs. Sorry :( Possibly these characters can be configurable. That would be better.

New checkbox in EM for "Replace apostrophe to hyphen (-)".
Unchecked by default.

And another one for ~ character. And yet another for something else? :) No, not a good idea.

@gaumondp see PR #636
There will be soon a hook to add own replacement methods. So you just could hook in there and change all ' to - if you like.
Be aware, that this will break links on your website.
