I am not sure if I am missing something, but the open form has a breadcrumb list of links at the top which I can use to get back to the Tickets. I expected that when I used this link to return to the list that the saved query I had used would still be in use. But I noticed that the Tickets Link in the URL does not carry the ?saved_query argument. Instead, it just has http://localhost:8000/helpdesk/tickets/ and when I return to the Ticket list the save query filtering has been dropped and the default query is used instead.
Was this by design? Am I missing close or return button? Or has it always been this way?
thanks in advance.

The scenario is that I have a Saved Query active on the ticket list (eg. My Tickets) which results in a URL similar to http://localhost:8000/helpdesk/tickets/?saved_query=1 then I open a ticket in that list.
