I am having a pretty difficult time trying to figure out how things are supposed to work based on the code, and I know I don't have to mention the immense documentation deficiency, but I have seen that there is at least some connect functionality built in. Recognizing this, I created a webhook endpoint that listens to events on connected accounts, but when a webhook call comes in of type capability.updated after a connected account is created for instance, it returns a 500 error. I tried for a while to figure out what goes on with the webhook code, to see if there is a canonical way to handle this trigger type, just so I could create connected accounts, but couldn't figure that out, so I just overrode the webhook to break out and handle that type separately. The problem then arises that I'm not sure how accounts are supposed to be created in the database. I'm also not sure if there is supposed to be a way to associate an account with a user.
So, needless to say, I have questions.
Why is there an option to listen to events on connected accounts, when the most basic event on a connected account is when an account is created, and the webhook fails?
In the case where I have to go to a lower level to override the main webhook handler, how should the connected account be pulled into the database.
Is there an accepted way to associate a connected account with a django User, or do I need to create a separate model for that?
