Thank you for the work you've done.
May I ask what your version plan is?
Will the 0.7.x version continue to be updated, or will the code based on the main branch generate version 0.8.0?

specifically, this pr will be tagged as 0.8.0 or 0.7.3?

This will make no difference to existing installations and we are providing an update path if there are incompatibilities. This happens in an initdb container in the engine.
