Question: will I use some features if I use dustcloud?

For example, assuming I have Roborock S6 with the original firmware. Xiaomi release firmware upgrades which includes improvements, for example, more efficient navigation or water tank empty detection (made these out, not sure what they actually improve).
Since, dustcloud requires an old firmware (to maintain root), does it mean using dustcloud the vaccum cleaner will lose some features?

If the answer is yes, what will I lose if i'm using Roborock S6?
