Serialization provided by Kakapo is quite powerful (IMHO 馃榾) and might be useful even without using Kakapo so we should:

  • Extract serialization into a different pod
  • Find a proper parrot name for the new parrot 馃惀

It's time to do it, there are also some possible feature needed like:

  • Key mapping (replace keys, powered by KeyTransformer)
  • "flatten" the serialized object

Possible name: Cockatoo ?

Fine, I guess there might be other possible features that we can't foresee right now.

Regarding the name, after some reading I've seen some nice names on the true parrots species list, but I am fine with Cockatoo as well.

An extension to serialize RawRepresentable elements would also be needed.

BTW, Cockatoo is cool
