Have a notification / counter on the systray icon #261

It could be great to have something which notifies you on the systray icon that there're new notifications/updates.

We do have that implemented, maybe it stopped working after some OS upgrade.
But I'm not actively working on devhub anymore.

Do you advise me to consider another project?

I'm currently on macOS 12.4
