How can I disable ALEHover?

Hello!

I really appreciate ALE for the linting features but find the hover popups very distracting and want to disable them. How can I do this? I have tried setting g:ale_hover_cursor to 0, but this hasn't worked. I've read the manual sections but don't see a clear option to turn this on or off. Thank you for any advice.

Apologies - after much troubleshooting and manual reading I realized that my central problem was not in fact with ALEHover but with auto hover from YouCompleteMe, which I hadn't realized has this on by default after I updated the plugin. Setting let g:ycm_auto_hover = '' solved the problem. Sorry for mistakenly thinking this was from ALE.
