WSAStartup not yet performed [WSANOTINITIALISED ] #105
Comments
I don't see this issue, maybe a config issue on your machine? This is from my tor.log: Apr 24 01:51:14.000 [notice] Tor 0.3.4.0-alpha-dev (git-192c7c8bf9a3c53d) opening new log file. |
The very first line, Apr 09 15:55:43.000 [err] libevent call with win32 failed: Successful WSAStartup not yet performed [WSANOTINITIALISED ] [10093] I get that every time I boot up my wallet. I've researched WSAStartup and its part of the MSDN aspx library. Ive tried to go about steps to "fix" WSAStartup but was unable to. |
I know, but I don't have that line in my log... |
Do you get a lot of SCRUBBED CONNECTIONS? And do you have these lines? Apr 18 20:45:45.000 [warn] Fetching v2 rendezvous descriptor failed. Retrying at another directory. |
Everysingle time i open up my wallet, and view my TOR log file.. this is the first line in the log file:
Apr 09 15:55:43.000 [err] libevent call with win32 failed: Successful WSAStartup not yet performed [WSANOTINITIALISED ] [10093]
From my understanding this is part of the microsoft MSDN aspx library.
Has anybody else had this issue and know how to solve it? I cannot figure out an easy fix on my own.
Not sure if this is what causes my tor log file to look like this after conneting, it constantly scrubs connections and never seems to really find a good connection to TOR. Is the WSAStartup part of the issue possibly?
Here is my latest log file.
Is this perhaps why it possibly scrubs connections?
I have now updated to 1.7.0 and still have this same error but now I have a new WARN line that I have never seen before.
May 01 13:52:23.000 [warn] CircuitPriorityHalflife is too small (-1.000000). Adjusting to the smallest value allowed: 30.000000.
Here is my most recent tor log file after starting 1.7.0.... OBSF4 works fine, but I'm not sure TOR is working properly...
Hopefully somebody can help me with this? Whenever I first connect the wallet it takes forever for the TOR light to turn green, and seems to drop connection from time to time to the tor network...
I apologize for everyline that has a STRIKEOUT, it is just deleting/changing what are supposed to be TILDE's in the log file, and striking that line out from TILDE to TILDE out in the code...
