I don't think this is specifically a DBeaver problem, but after upgrading my server db to Mysql 8.0.33, my connections to the database using DBeaver and an SSH tunnel no longer work - unless I use the Mysql root account & password.
Using any other Mysql account login I get 'Access denied for user 'XXXXX'@'127.0.0.1' (using password: YES). Testing the SSH tunnel works fine, and if I instead use the Mysql root then that works fine, but no other Mysql account works.
Everything was fine before the upgrade to Mysql 8.0.33 - I wondered if there were more mysql permissions now needed on the login account for dbeaver to connect?
