The current custom way is way too cumbersome and confusing.
Instead of just opening to the last folder used for a SQL script when I want to save or open one, I get this severely limited custom DBeaver screen that just shows a list of filenames and "Info" of the SQL and a "Folder" column that shows the current folder it's in (?) with no path. There's nothing to click to move them around, rename them, or choose a different folder (directory) in the filesystem.
Frequently I'm having to rename and organize saved scripts because I need to use them again, and it's giant pain in the a**. Once I organize them, I can't access them. Even after they're moved, clicking Open SQL Script shows ones that have been moved but as "empty", reloading the screen removes the dereferenced ones finally... and in order to open a moved one in a query tab means opening it from Finder, copy-pasting the text into a new SQL tab, then re-saving then re-moving the file so the original gets updated.
This is insane. Why build this weird interface? Just let us open the normal operating system's browser like any other app does. Whatever I used last for Save or Open, go to that path. Fine if you want to let me save a custom start point or whatever, but get this giant obstacle of a custom screen out of the way. It's only good for auto-named "Script-#.sql" files, which is basically ambiguous to uselessness.
