Typst is on the rise, while others have reported they would like a Latex integration, Typst might be easier because of its markdown like Syntax.

Support for Typst (.typ) files

Thanks for opening this issue and bringing Typst to my attention. I'll keep an eye on it. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a Typst parser in the Javascript / Typsecript ecosystem, and I'm not able to take on that task myself right now.
