From 1 may 2024, Google has officially deprecated the support to Google Fit API. I was in a verification process and they closed it. So now I am forced to use HealthConnect.
I have an Ionic Capacitor app with Angular and I have tried to update cordova-plugin-health to its latest version (from 2.0.4 to 3.1.1) and also the awesome-cordova-plugins/health awesome-cordova-plugins/core to the latest version (6.7.0) to be able to use HealthConnect. After the update I get this error "Native: tried calling Health.isAvailable, but the Health plugin is not installed." I have followed the cordova-plugin-health documentation for version 3+, and updated capacitor version from 5 to 6. Looks like awesome-cordova-plugins/health is not ready to use cordova-plugin-health 3+ and they recommend to use directly cordova-plugin-health but they do not add info on how to do it. Has any of you had the same issue? Can anyone help me? Do you know if awesome-cordova-plugins/health is getting an update to use cordova-plugin-health 3+?
