Checklist

  • I added a descriptive title
  • I searched open reports and couldn't find a duplicate

What happened?

  1. I installed the conda-libmamba-solver using the instructions provided at https://conda.github.io/conda-libmamba-solver/user-guide/

  2. After installing conda-libmamba-solver, I made it the default solver
$ conda config --set solver libmamba

  3. conda seemed to be working and the installations were fast but it kept asking me to update base conda:
    conda update -n base conda

  4. After updating conda seems to be broken. I keep getting the following error when I use conda:

PluginError: Error while loading conda plugins from entrypoints: libarchive.so.19: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Conda Info
