This is mostly due to the fact that we don't run over https locally.

An option could be to add support to run lighthouse-keeper on preview builds, for example the ones that Netlify generates 🙂

That would be great. I would be particularly interested in running Lighthouse against my Heroku Review Apps created for each pull request.

Another difference worth leveraging is the impact content delivery networks have over your Lighthouse score. If you run Lighthouse in a "production" environment (as opposed to using localhost), the results will be more accurate because of all the caching layers that affect the performance.
