auto completion on gh commands

this might be a simple question to answer for few,

gh commands on tab are not autocompleting where git commands do in zsh. is there a way to configure so that commands can be autocompleted?

Depending on how you install gh, completions may or may not be set up out-of-the-box. For example, Homebrew will likely set up completions, but our Debian packages will not (for now). Please refer to gh help completion for instructions for manual setup.

gh copilot <TAB> does not suggest completion.
(I have installed and sourced completion for my shell)
