Is Cheerio node only?

I'm porting a parser I've made some time ago from node environment to browser, and cheerio is giving me

Uncaught TypeError: (0 , import_nth_check.default) is not a function

at compileToken (compile.ts:116:10)
at addAdapter (index.ts:60:16)

I'm wondering whether the problem is in my build pipeline somewhere, or if Cheerio can't work in the browser.

Answer - it works! nth-check was 2.0.1 in my lockfile, had to force an upgrade to 2.1.1 and it works now.
