Perplexity: Despite checking the "use my account" in settings, it is not

Describe the bug

ANTICIPATED BEHAVIOR
I want my Perplexity searches in Hub to be saved to my Perplexity account and I also want to be able to use my 5 free Pro searches per day. By checking "Perplexity" under "USE YOUR OWN ACCOUNT", at least the first bit here should happen.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
Despite having that option selected, any Perplexity searches I do on ChatHub are not reflected in my Perplexity account, despite being logged in on the same browser.

ATTEMPTS TO FIX
I tried unchecking then saving then rechecking the option then saving, but this didn't help. The Perplexity search is still not saved in my Perplexity account.

OTHER NOTES
My ChatGPT and Gemini searches are appropriately saved in those respective accounts.
