I'm trying to setup a simulation in which a car follows the ego vehicle and records it from behind.
Unfortunately, the easy workaround of setting a negative x coordinate for the ego vehicle camera position does not return what I need because the camera ends up moving solidly with the ego vehicle during turns, thus capturing only its rear.
I thought about playing with the traffic manager to spawn a car following the ego one to which I could attach a camera sensor but I am not quite sure it would be feasible.
For my application, I would perhaps settle with dumping the simulator view in standalone mode of the ego car, slightly tweaking the point of view distance from the car car. Do you have any idea how to achieve this? Thanks!
