Is it possible to restore from multi-node to single node

For e.g.

I had two servers: A and B, and now I want to create a new setup with new provider and new server, but I want to limit my server instances to a single node, say C.
Is it possible to backup docker from A and B and restore it in C

I figured out it's possible by modifying the ./meta/backup.json and ./data/config-captain.json and replacing/deleting all the instances of second node with the first one.
