Incredibly weird behavior on launch (MacOS) #504

Getting the exact same thing. Tried in Kitty and Iterm2, inside and outside tmux. |
Seems like the version installed through brew is 1.8.0 but the latest release is 1.8.2 but does not include pre-built OSX binaries. Might need to build it locally. |

See the video. Upon launch, I get weirdly formatted error messages and am thrown back into the prompt. Moving the mouse then generates text input in the terminal (???) I have never seen anything like this.
Installed via
brew tap browsh-org/homebrew-browsh
and thenbrew install browsh
