I found the bug on the latest code of the master branch.

Describe the bug

Does not update, requires reinstall as per upstream

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

install from vagrant image
try to update with cup all
errors

Expected behavior

Updates succeed

Software

Virtualbox version: 7.0.10r158379
Vagrant version: Vagrant 2.3.6
