Describe the bug
version 1.7.10 of eqmac has been causing major problems like slowing down safari, crashing itself, make the scroll/download bar on the bottom of the videos flash and so on.
Furthermore the UI responds very slowly to volume fader adjustments and to show/hide features commands.

Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour (feel free to change the placeholder as you need):
problems appear every day but cannot be reproduced exactly

Setup information:

  • Audio device used for playback: NI Traktor Audio 6
  • Audio transmission interface: USB
  • macOS Version: 14.2.1.
  • eqMac Version 1.7.10
  • eqMac UI Version [e.g. 0.0.4] (if UI related issue)

Screenshots or Console.app logs
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem. Also you can run Console.app and apply filter for eqMac

Additional information
problems started with the latest update. i also tried several clean reinstalls which would solve any issues in the past but I always get back to 1.7.10 and that seems very problematic on my system.

using a clean reinstall of the latest version 185 and driver 252 on the latest MacOS 14.3. still the problem is there. I noticed its bound to safari only as other browsers work normally with eqmac
