Fehler beim Start des Tonuino - vermutlich SD-Leser? #75

Hallo zusammen,

nach Ankunft meiner PCBs stellen sich mir einige kleine Herausforderungen:

Nach dem Start des ESP32 (Nodemcu) erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung ca 5-6 mal:

Danach gehts weiter im Sekundentakt mit:

Die Verbindung zu dem SD-Leser (SPI-Betrieb an GPIO 12,14,15,16) ist gestört. Wenn ich jetzt die Stromzufuhr und den SDA trenne, erscheint die Meldung, das die SD-Karte nicht gefunden wurde. Stecke ich im laufenden Betriebe bei Stecker wieder an, wird die SD-Karte gefunden und es funktioniert alles augenscheinlich... Karten werden erkannt, Webinterface funktioniert, Encoder macht lauter/leiser

Aber:

ein Folgefehler ist der NEO-Pixel Ring: Der Ring macht im Sekundentakt rote Kreise (SD-Karte wird nicht erkannt) - das Dimmen per Mod-Karte funktioniert, wird auch mit "grün" bestätigt. Hmm...
Der Aufbau spielt keine Musik, laut Konsole wird die Karte erkannt und er spielt auch den Track ab, meldet Ende vom Track usw...
Der ESP wacht nach DeepSlepp sofort wieder auf... Meldung:

Ich schätze die Fehler des SD-Lesers, 1) und 3) hängen aufgrund der Meldung zusammen, bei 2) bin ich ahnungslos

Edit: Um Fehler beim löten auszuschließen, habe ich den Aufbau ein zweites mal mit neuen Komponenten, andere ESP usw... aufgebaut, die Fehler bleiben identisch.

Welches settings-File hast du denn verwendet und hast du die GPIO-Konfiguration dort dem PCB-Layout angepasst?

Was mir auch noch einfällt: Was für einen Drehencoder benutzt du? Sind da irgendwo PullUp-Widerstände eingelötet?
Und welche Optionen hast du in Settings einkompiliert. Vielleicht postest du am besten mal die Settings-Datei und auch die zugehörige Board-Settings-Dabei.

Settings-Files weiter unten. Ich habe (so Gott will) die Settings an das Board angepasst, Wenn ich den ESP startet und nach dem Start den SD-Karten-Leser anstecke, funktioniert das Teil ja auch. Er erkennt die Karte, die Daten werden im Webinterface angezeigt, ich kann Tags speichern und abrufen. Ich habe das Gefühl, ich müssten Reader den "verzögert starten"...

Auf der Suche nach weiteren Fehlerquellen habe ich auf dem Bild von Mario Lukas gesehen, das er die Beinchen vom 9540 gekreuzt hat - vielleicht verursacht das ja meinen deep sleep Fehler, ich habe sie nicht gekreuzt...

Ich muss heute Abend nochmal in Ruhe schauen, hatte noch keine Zeit. Mario meinte ja, dass der Fehler, der im Bild zu sehen war, in seinem PCB inzwischen weg sei. Wäre jetzt natürlich ein Brocken, wenn dem anders sei.

Drehencoder:
Der sieht ok aus, aber was mir auf dem Bild auffällt ist, dass unten nur zwei Widerstände eingelötet sind. Ist das wirklich so? Also dass ständig rot angezeigt wird hört sich für mich so ein bisschen danach an, als ob der PullUp-Widerstand am Button des Drehencoders fehlt. Aber eigentlich habe ich den internen Pullup zusätzlich aktiviert und wenn der GPIO <=34 ist, dann funktioniert dieser interne PullUp auch.

SD-Leser:
Das sieht ok aus. Den habe ich auch 2mal hier. Aber eigentlich nur, weil ich verpeilt habe, dass es SD und nicht uSD ist :-D Ist bissl groß aber funktioniert.

Muss mir Marios PCB nochmal anschauen.

Kann es ein Problem mit der Spannungsversorgung sein? Ich hatte ähnliche Aussetzer bei Versorgung mit USB Kabel und der Artikel hier berichtet auch von ungewolltem Aufwachen aus dem Deep Sleep:

Der Encoder hat auf der Unterseite 2x 10k Widerstände verbaut

Ich hab's beim SD-Reader auch nicht gesehen, der Suchbegriff TF-Card hilft mir beim nächsten mal...

Also an deiner GPIO-Config stimmen gleich mehrere Nummern nicht:

ButtonPrev: 2 (müsste 33 sein)
RotaryButton: 34 (müsste 32 sein)
RotaryClk: 32 (müsste 34 sein)

Am besten nochmal alle GPIOs entweder mit Schematics.pdf im Pictures-Ordner des PCBs abgleichen oder mit der Tabelle in der PCB-Doku.

Um die Verwirrung zu entwirren: ich nutze ein eigenes PCB:

Dort habe ich ein paar GPIOs verändert, ich nutze nicht die Gerber-Files von Mario...

An die Stromversorgung habe ich auch schon gedacht, teste ich morgen...

Könnte es an zu langen Kabeln liegen? Bei der ESP Variante von Tolipwen (Robert) mit VS1053 habe ich damals Probleme mit Kabellänge größer 10cm gehabt. Beim VS1053 ist die CLK und CS mega empfindlich - je kürzer die Kabel desto höher die Erfolgsaussichten....

Sollte ich meine Schematik Posten?

Also die Länge ist nicht das Problem. Was halt nur immer wieder zu Problemen führt, sind Jumperwires. Ich habe deswegen zwischenzeitlich auf JST-PH 2.0 gewechselt. Nachteil: Sie haben 2mm-Rasterabstand und sind daher nicht mit dem normalen Lochabstand kompatibel.

Kurze Zusammenfassung:
Ich habe die Konfiguration nochmals "fliegend" verkabelt und den ESP per Flash Tool genullt. Folgende Änderungen haben sich ergeben:
Ton wird abgespielt, der SD-Reader wird beim Start erkannt... Puh :-)

Allerdings bleibt der Fehler, das der NeoRing durchgehend rote Kreise zieht...
Beim Einschalten wird er erst, wie angegeben orange, dann wechselt er jedoch zu den roten Kreisen.
Wenn ich eine Mod-Karte vor den RC522 halte, blinkt er kurz grün, dann wieder rote Kreise. Ich kann es ihm einfach nicht abgewöhnen.

Und die Kiste bootet sofort nach dem DeepSleep neu...
Das Verhalten hat er immer, ganz gleich welche Peripherie angeschlossen ist.

Das klingt doch besser :-)
Ich denke, dass hier irgendwo ein PullUp-Widerstand fehlt von einem Button, der dann "floated". Insbesondere denke ich an den Button des Drehencoders. Stöpsel den Button mal ab und schaue, ob der Fehler persistiert.

Der Ring verhält sich so, auch wenn nur der SD-Reader und er selbst angeschlossen ist...

Ich werde Mal deine unmodifiziert Software drauf packen.

War von mir wohl bisschen doof, das so zu empfehlen :-)
Also das Problem ist, dass der Button des Drehencoders laut deiner Config oben auf GPIO34 liegt. Damit ist die Zeile "pinMode(DREHENCODER_BUTTON, INPUT_PULLUP);" unwirksam, da GPIOs >=34 keinen internen PullUp besitzen. Falls du nun einen Drehencoder besitzt, der ebenfalls keinen internen PullUp hat, dann kann es zu solch komischen Effekten kommen. Vielleicht kannst du zwischen GPIO34 und 3.3V mal einen 10k-Widerstand einbauen. Das wäre dann ersatzweise dann PullUp.

Also floaten bedeutet einfach, dass der Zustand undefiniert ist. Das kann dann irgendwas sein, was dann aber zu Events führt. Und davon ganz viele.

Die letzten 2-3 Tage habe ich etwas (schmerzhaft) gelernt:

3v3 ist nicht +5V
