Bug description
It was my turn to speak Christmas day Bible text Isaiah 9:1-6. I prepared it previous evening at home and printed it (finnish PR92 bible) verses to paper. So I could easily read it with bigger font.

When I looked the text, it seemed weird. Something which doesn't be in harmony with Christmas. Then I took finnish bible text with www browser. It was different text! When I looked the texts I realized that Bible time took one verse from Isaiah 8. Last verse, I think. And Isaiah 9:6 was not in copied text. So, my analyze is that BibleTime had a bad offset to verses. I think that this is a bug of BibleTime v. 3.0.3. My Computer operation system is Linux Kubuntu 23.10.

Steps to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open BibleTime. Open a finnish PR92 Bible.
  2. CLick Isaiah 9
  3. Look that the first verse on screen is from previous chapter 8. And if you have decided to look 6 verses, the last verse is not that verse number. It's one more. So the field is one verse (-1) earlier.

Expected behavior
Isaiah 9:1-6.

System information:

  • Linux Kubuntu 23.10
  • BibleTime Version 3.0.3
  • apt bibletime/mantic 3.0.3-3 amd64

Additional context
I looked more closely at the text when I started BibleTime. It opened Isaiah 9:0-6. Then when I arrowed 9:1-6, BibleTime still picked up one verse from the previous chapter.

I tried to reproduce this on kde fedora 39 with BibleTime 3.0.3 and with the master branch.
I was not able to reproduce it.
