Error handling division by zero

So i have Code

  function onError() returns error|int{    
    int a=0;
    int b = 0;
    int c  = check (a/b);

    return c
}
public function main() {
   error|int got = onError();
   io:println("Got error----- \n",got);
}

I got error

error: {ballerina}DivisionByZero {"message":" / by zero"}
        at navaneethb.basics.0:onError(main.bal:238)
           navaneethb.basics.0:main(main.bal:276)

But i thought error would be returned. As i have written check on expression which would evaluate (a/b) and if there is an error it would return error & i would get output as

Got error------
 error: {ballerina}DivisionByZero {"message":" / by zero"}
        at navaneethb.basics.0:onError(main.bal:238)
           navaneethb.basics.0:main(main.bal:276)

So actually what is happening here?

Got it!! i didn't saw there is panic to handle such error
