rye sync fails in CI but not locally (PyPy3)

rye sync failed in my CI:

Not sure what is wrong. Any ideas?

Well, if I rye pin [email protected] before rye sync in the CI, then it works. The problem comes from PyPy3.

Is CI using pip-tools and local using uv? Try using uv both places. Since CI mentions pip-tools, it could be the explanation.

You are right. Adding rye config --set-bool behavior.use-uv=true before rye sync makes it work.

Great that it works. As long as pip-tools is supported, I think a bug report on the problem would still be welcome if the problem can be reported.
