We are open to have additional modules, but we (the core team) lack time to do it so we would need another contributor to lead that module. |
I will be interested in contributing to this module if more hands are needed. |

Writing tests to verify
javax.mail
(and the newerjakarta.mail
) types is hard. The API doesn't support many of the usual design patterns common to Java (e.g. Iterables), there's checked exceptions all over the place, and it's generally hard to use. Those same problems also make it hard to use elegantly with AssertJ.A dedicated extension for
javax.mail
