When changing tools using the hotkeys the mouse cursor teleports some number of pixels. I notice it most often when switching between the Line(L) tool and the Eyedropper(I) tool, but it happens with others as well.

It is worth noting that I don't have this problem on the Windows version.

Aseprite and System version

  • Aseprite version: 1.3.5
  • System: Linux, elementary OS 7.1 Horus, Built on Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, Linux 6.5.0-25-generic

Steps to reproduce:

  • Open any document in Aseprite on Linux.
  • Leave the cursor stationary on the canvas.
  • Press V, I, and/or L. (Possibly others)
  • Note the change in which pixel the cursor is over

Hi @infamoussabre, thanks for the video. Just in case do you have two devices connected in your notebook? e.g. mouse + stylus. Is there one position for each pointer device? e.g. moving the mouse moves one cursor and moving the stylus (or trackpad) moves the arrow cursor on its own location.

The unit comes with a Wacom touchscreen installed however there are no drivers installed to use it. While I do have both the touchpad below the keyboard and my wireless mouse, they do not move separate cursors.
