I noticed my AMD64 (Gentoo Linux) system running sluggishly and saw my RAM usage was at 3GB! Looking at the list of tasked showed chromium was (uncharacteristically) the source, and looking at chromium's specific memory allocations showed Tab Sugar as the culprit:

I uninstalled the extension, but I suppose if necessary (you haven't already tracked a large memory leak) I could reinstall and trace to see if I can help pin it down.

Wow that's a huge leak for sure!
I wonder if it's caused by the screen preview feature...
I'll try enable/disable it and check if it changes anything.

Not sure, however I reinstalled TabSugar and the problem came right back. I'll have a go at debugging this weekend... I have university classes all week taking up my time.
