Describe the request

I would like to disable the display of the file extensions in the tabs, I write very large projects with many tabs almost all are .ino (I don't care and they eat real-estate).
An option would be nice to only show non .ino files in the file extensions for the tab.

current tabs show [myproject.ino][database.ino][touch.ino] etc
