Your code from the SO post worked for me if I uncomment these lines in the superset config file:

Hello
I have a Superset installed from latest docker I'm trying to set up Superset authentication using Remote user, for now just the simplest way possible, however got stuck.
Few assumptions:
I tried to follow this Stack Overflow thread: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47990985/how-does-remote-user-authentication-type-works-in-apache-superset . Used the simpler code first, set in superset_config.py:
This causes browser to throw ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS - I can see it redirects from welcome to login page and going around (redirect) in circles.
I tried the other code from SO thread:
I can see in the logs that it correctly looked up the user name and surname, and throw few warnings that I assume are not critical. In the browser however it just redirects me to login page instead of actually giving me access:
Tried code from: https://github.com/ajgil/Superset-remote-user-auth-nginx/blob/master/config.py, however it throws an error
TypeError: 'bool' object is not callable
.Also tried disabling Talisman, WTF CSFR and Cookie session using variables:
Any idea what is the easiest way to setup this type of authentication - so I can just see it working and add complexity from there? Anyone has it actually working?
Many thanks
Kamil
