Sure. We have already used the 2.0.0 version SDK on https://github.com/apache/incubator-teaclave.

Good to know. I do have a non-trivial codebase on 1.1.6. Not clear to me if now is the best time to migrate.

I still think it's easy enough for you guys to push a new docker image for 1.1.6, so I (or anyone else) don't need to maintain a fork.
